Viking Professional ovens (especially older analog models) use a mechanical thermostat bulb or a selector switch that can degrade. If the selector switch contacts are carbonized, the oven might stay in "Broil" mode even when set to "Bake." We inspect the selector switch and thermostat to ensure correct mode engagement.

The French-door mechanism uses a chain or gear linkage system to synchronize the doors. If the chain slips a tooth or stretches, the doors become misaligned. We adjust the synchronization linkage so both doors close tightly in unison.

Viking ovens use powerful convection fans. A whine usually indicates the rear bearing is dry. While not immediately dangerous, it will eventually seize and burn out the motor. We recommend replacing the motor assembly before it fails completely during a holiday dinner.

This is the hallmark of a weak Glow Bar Igniter. In Viking ovens, the igniter must draw a specific amperage to open the safety gas valve. As it ages, it may still glow orange but become too weak to trigger the gas flow. We replace the igniter with an OEM part to ensure your oven fires up immediately every time.

The high heat of the self-clean cycle can sometimes fuse the door latch solenoid or trip a safety high-limit thermostat, preventing the lock from releasing even after the oven cools.
